Rambut Monte

Rambut Monte offers nice greeneries and fresh air. In this site, we can feel the mysterious atmoshpere. Here we can find an ancient temple, called Candi Rambut Monte, and a pond with sacred fishes. A legend said that Mpu Baradha took the sacred water from this pond and use it to divide the Kahuripan kingdom into Jenggala and Kediri. The fishes in the pond, called sengkaring fish, are considered as sacred fish. None dare to take the sacred fishes.
